¶ What are the remote services that the Maven CLM app communicates with?
If you have already installed Maven CLM to your Salesforce org, you can check that in Setup -> Remote Site Settings and look for sites with “mmclm” prefix.
Here is the list for your reference, in case you have not yet installed the app https://accounts.google.com https://www.googleapis.com https://graph.microsoft.com https://login.microsoftonline.com
If you have connected your Microsoft account to our application, then there will also be one more dynamic remote site setting with the name "MicrosoftOrganizationURL" - this is the URL adress of your organization in the Microsoft service.
¶ I know our company uses Maven CLM, but I can not see the app in Salesforce
You must be missing a license or permission set for Maven CLM. Ask your Administrator to assign it to you. More information can be found in our documentation.
¶ I know that Sections, Clauses, Versions or other objects records exist, but why I don't see them?
Depending on how you configure your Salesforce Org, you may not be able to see records of objects created by other users. You can change the settings of the entire object at once by going to the setup and entering "Sharing Settings" in the search field. Choose sharing settings, search Organization-Wide Defaults setting and click edit near it. Select the object whose sharing settings you want to change, update it's value and save.
If you do not want to change general settings, then users can share their records by clicking on the "Sharing" button in the record layout. In the window that opens, select the user to whom you want to grant access and select the desired type of access. Save it. You can check who has access and what type of access to this record by clicking the "Sharing Hierarchy" button. Besides these two types, there are much more sharing types, all of which are standard. For more information, ask your administrator or review Salesforce documentation.
¶ Can we have multiple Google or Microsoft Accounts connected to Maven CLM app with each user separately?
No. Currently, only one account is allowed.
¶ My other teammates can create sections, clauses and versions, why I don’t have this option?
The reason for that is likely the permission level you have. Maven CLM allow three sets of permissions - Admin, Super User and User. Each permission set has its own restrictions and permissions. Contact your Administrator if you need your permissions to be updated. More information can be found in our documentation.
¶ I want to make a field required or add a validation rule, how can I do this?
You cannot change the field to the required, but you can add a validation rule. To do this, on the record page of the required object, click on the gear icon and select "Edit Object". In the window that appears, go to the validation rules tab and click new. To create validation rules, you must have the necessary permissions in your organization, and also be familiar with validation formulas. These are standard Salesforce tools. You can read about them in the Salesforce documentation or contact your administrator.
